In a world where we’ve suddenly become very separated, we still want to provide a place for our community’s creativity and art to be together. And we thought: “Hey, we have a website…”
Ok, here’s the legal bit…we cannot guarantee your artwork is secure on our website. We won’t be adding watermarks to prevent others from downloading them, etc. We, however, will only use your art in this gallery, unless you have ok’d it’s use on social media to help others find this gallery. If you choose, you can have your name listed below your art. We’d recommend that children under the age of 18 use their first names only - this is the internet. If you don’t submit a name, it won’t be listed. We don’t own your pictures or your art, but by submitting them you are giving us permission to use them on this page.
So, York Community, while live theatre may be on pause and our onsite art gallery is closed. This is your art gallery.
Whether you’re age 2 or a 102, we all have the ability to be creators. We’d like to see what you’re creating.
Simply photograph your artwork or format your art as a .jpg and submit the form below by clicking on the big button labeled “Submit Your Artwork.”
This Community Art Gallery is for people of all ages so, please make sure your submissions are appropriate for all ages. We’ll share weekly art challenges on Facebook, but any submission is welcome.
New submissions will be added every Monday until social distancing is a thing of the past.
