THE SHOW MUST GO ON! AND IT MUST BE VIRTUAL!
Come join us this Christmas on the Playhouse Virtual Stage.
In a show for children and adults of any age.
We’ve got Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, and some ghosts as well.
To tell a Dickens classic as only Dr. Seuss would tell.
In just over an hour the Scrooge will learn
That it’s more important how you treat others, than the amount that you earn.
It’s a Seussified Christmas Carol we’re preparing for you.
By our cast full of qurky characters and talented crew.
For two weekends in a row this virtual show will run.
December the 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th, so join in the fun.
Lights! Camera! Virtual!
Join the Yorkshire Playhouse in partnership with Cornerstone Bank for a matching funds drive for Giving Tuesday to help make virtual performances a reality in this years’ “Go Digital in 2021” Campaign. For every dollar donated, Cornerstone Bank will match that dollar, until we reach our goal! Five dollars becomes $10, $25 becomes $50, etc. We set our goal for $7500, meaning that Cornerstone Bank will match up to $3750! Funds raised will be used to help purchase the sound, video, and software needed.
Open auditions for our Holiday show, A Suessified Christmas Carol, will be held October 19-21, 6-8PM!
This year, we will be producing another fantastic production written and directed by John Baker with children from York and surrounding communities! We'd love to have you join us for auditions in April!
